Hoewel de muziek van dit Long Distance Calling totaal anders was dan van de hoofdacts ging iedereen meteen helemaal los. Het is zeer zeldzaam dat ik zo van mijn sokken geblazen werd door niet alleen de muziek maar vooral het enthousiasme van een openende band. Spelvreugde straalde van het podium af en besmette het publiek met de energie om als een geheel op de muziek te deinen. Destijds vroeg ik mij af of de muziek ook op plaat de nodige energie bevatte. Het antwoord is volmondig ja!”
